ICE is a campaign to encourage mobile phone
holders to program a contact into their phones. Paramedics
and EMTs check the cellular phones of accident victims, and
if an ICE contact is listed they know whom to notify In
Case of Emergency.
ICE
is the brainchild of British paramedic Bob Brotchie, and with
terrorism concerns has now been widely adopted.
